HOOT POKER

Privacy on Hoot’s guide website

Scope of this page

This page covers the guide website at hootpoker.com. The game at play.hootpoker.com is a separate service for account, session and gameplay data. Following a game link takes you to that service.

Reading guides does not require an account. This version of the guide website has no sign-up forms, advertising or behavioural analytics tools. Fonts and images are served from the site’s own files rather than external font services.

Calculator and connection data

The side-pot and pot-odds calculators and hand-ranking quiz run in your browser. These tools do not send your inputs or results to a server or save them in persistent storage.

Website requests pass through Cloudflare for delivery and connection security, then reach our website server through an encrypted connection. Cloudflare may process connection data, including network addresses and requested pages, for operation and security under its policies. This website server has access logging disabled; operational errors may be recorded to diagnose failures. These statements do not describe the separate game application logs.

Support requests and external references

External references lead to websites with their own policies. Support is part of the separate game application and requires sign-in to submit and follow a request. Your question and its reply are saved in a ticket linked to your account. An AI assistant may review the question, and you can ask for a person at any time. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information.

For privacy questions, or to request review or deletion of information you have sent to Hoot, open support in the game, sign in, describe your request and choose “Ask a person”. We may need to verify your identity before handling account information. Submitting a request does not delete data immediately; follow the reply in your account for the outcome of the review. Do not send passwords or login codes.

Sign in to your game account to submit a support request. You can follow the reply and ask for a person in the support dialog.
